Patriot General Engineering and the Patriot Empowerment Institute were honored to be invited to speak at SDG&E’s Lean In & Valor Employee Resource Group Veterans Day Executive Event. We were proud to share the work we’re doing to support our active-duty service members and veterans as they transition into purposeful, meaningful post-service careers.
Patriot General’s Director of Safety Services — and U.S. Army Infantry veteran — Todd Vance delivered a powerful message, sharing his personal story of military service and the challenges he faced returning to civilian life. His journey is a reminder of why this work matters and why community partnerships like this are so important.
The Patriot Empowerment Institute non-profit was founded by Patriot General CEO Steve Garcia, his brother Ben Garcia, and their Marine Corps Force Recon teammate James Leandro, with one mission: to bridge the gap between military service and the civilian workforce. We’re grateful for the opportunity to share that mission with SDG&E and to stand alongside organizations committed to empowering those who’ve served.
