On Friday, February 7, 2025, Patriot General Engineering proudly hosted our annual Safety Standdown event at the Lakeside VFW Hall. This essential event reinforced our unwavering commitment to workplace safety, bringing together employees, industry experts, and valued partners for a day dedicated to education, awareness, and hands-on demonstrations.

The event featured a series of impactful job site safety presentations led by our very own Patriot General safety team. These sessions focused on reinforcing best practices, hazard recognition, and proactive measures to ensure the well-being of every worker on-site.
Co’s Traffic Control provided a crucial presentation on distracted driving awareness, highlighting the dangers of inattention behind the wheel and the importance of staying vigilant on the road. The Patriot General Fire Crew delivered an engaging demonstration on proper fire extinguisher deployment, ensuring all attendees are prepared to act swiftly in case of an emergency.
Milwaukee Tools showcased their latest innovations in tool safety, introducing new features designed to enhance efficiency while minimizing risk. MSA conducted hands-on demonstrations on fall protection and confined space awareness, equipping attendees with the knowledge necessary to navigate hazardous environments safely.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) hosted an informative vehicle code Q&A, providing valuable insights into regulations that directly impact our industry. Additionally, BBSI led crucial training sessions on workplace violence and sexual harassment awareness, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a respectful and secure work environment.

Of course, no Safety Standdown event would be complete without great food, and Beach Eats food truck delivered an incredible breakfast and lunch, keeping attendees fueled and ready to engage throughout the day.
